Facebook is a great place for advertising. Why? Imagine one billion+ daily users logging in their accounts! Your audience is very likely to be among this one billion. If there is a channel where your ad needs to be on, it is here.
But what should your ad look like? Here are some elements they should absolutely have:
- They should be visual
Visual content matters and is more likely to be shared than any other type of content.
So make sure that your ad is visual in nature, i.e. it should take up screen space, it should have simple text, should have bold and attractive backgrounds and it should feature your business/product.
We also mean to say, gifs, stories and videos, but you understand what we mean, don’t you? And, don’t forget to use some apps to make your images and videos look awesome.
- They should follow the K.I.S.S rule
Your ad is not there to sell your product. Your ad is there to catch your customer’s attention. It should make them go, ooh!
So, keep it simple, silly! The thumb rule is: Four words for the title and 15 words for the link description.
- They should have a CTA
CTA is Call to Action.
So imagine you want the customer to come to you but you don’t tell them where to come to! That’s so not cool!
That is why you need, nah! must give them a CTA.
Tell them what to click, where to click, and when to do something. Put your thinking hats and be creative.
After all, people like confidence.
Let’s repeat the rules once again:
- Give you audience visual content.
- Give them a CTA
So, go out and have some fun creating Facebook ads. And, remember if they like your ad, they will end up liking you as well.
